We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated Account Executive with a competitive edge to join our team!

Boring Business Systems Sales Account Executives are business-to-business sales professionals responsible for retaining and expanding sales revenue in an assigned territory as well as drive new market share. This is an outside sales position which requires selling office equipment such as printers and copiers and office technology such as managed network services, software, VoIP services and more. This position requires a heavy amount of cold calling to earn new business and build relationships.

The Boring Way

In This Role, You Will Get To:

  • Promote products and represent the company at off-site customer meetings.
  • Provide excellent customer service.

  • Maintain records of all account activity within sales database.
  • Serve as first line of contact with customers.
  • Perform outbound sales calls and business to business visits, to targeted prospective customers, with a focus on customer retention and expansion of Boring Business Systems products.

Required, Education, Training and/or Experience:

  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience in a related field is preferred.
  • 2 years of business-to-business successful account management and account development experience. Not required but preferred.
  • 2 years of cold calling experience preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation ( you will be given a monthly car allowance)

Required Decision Making and Organization Impact: 

This position requires the employee, to be able to execute on daily activity KPI requirements.

Physical Requirements

Balancing, bending /stooping, climbing, crawling, a lot of walking at times for several hours throughout the day, sitting, standing, lifting, carrying or pushing equipment at times that could exceed 150lbs or greater, grasping, kneeling, hand/eye coordination, repetitive motion, pulling hand over hand, reaching above shoulders, utilization of hands/fingers for typing and writing, ability to see and read PC screens; detect color coding, read fine print, and/or normal type size print, and the ability to detect specific noises, understand what clients are saying in normal conversation. The ability to operate a motor vehicle.
